About SCPS

Stark County Power Squadron, founded in 1956, is proud to be a unit of USPS® in District 7.

We can help members improve their boating skills, contribute to their community, and increase their fun on and off the water.

Our activities are many and varied. They include on the water rendezvous and cruises; dinner meetings and picnics; district and national conferences; interesting programs: visiting with other boaters. Refer to our calendar and photo gallery pages for more information.

In addition to the Basic Boating Classes we offer to the public, we offer advanced boating classes to members on many subjects of interest to boaters. We also learn from each other as we share experiences and knowledge.
